Part Number: ADS8681EVM-PDK

Hi,

I would like to know more about the operation of ADS8681EVM-PDK on the board level.

In brief, what are the processes that happen on the ADS8681EVM-PDK board when the "Capture" button is pressed on the ADS8681EVM GUI?

Is there any flow chart that I can refer to?

Any help is much appreciated.

    Hi David,

    There is a PHI controller card in the ADS8681EVM-PDK. when the ""Capture" button is pressed in the GUI, the PHI card will send control signals to activate a conversion on the DUT on the EVM, then retrieve the sample data and send them to the computer for further analysis. All control timing and data reading timing can be found in the ADS8681 datasheet. There is no flow chart. The purpose to design this platform is only to evaluate the ADC on the EVM board.
