Hello,

I wanted to check if there is any SDK available to develop a firmware for MSP430F5528 using ADS1220 ADC. Does TI have a hardware and software tools for SW development and programming ?

    Hi Priyanka,

    There is a LaunchPad for the MSP430F5529 that also contains a debugger.  The 5529 is from the same family as the MSP430F5528 that is on the ADS1220EVM.  The initial intent was to allow connectors to be added to the bottom of the ADS1220EVM that would allow interfacing to the ADS1220 using the BoosterPack concept.  Unfortunately the ADS1220EVM was completed prior to the release of the MSP430F5529 LaunchPad so some modifications would be required to the connections.  Also some additional jumpers would be required to be added on the ADS1220EVM to disable the communication to the ADS1220 from the onboard micro.

    Code Composer Studio (CCS) can be used for program development.  There is a library of tools for the MSP430 devices that can be downloaded and installed into CCS.
