TLA2022: Solder mask clearance

Hi Team,

At page 34 of the datasheet, the recommended solder mask clearance for all pads is 0.05mm. However it is not clear if the clearance is larger or smaller than the pad. Can you please confirm?

    Hi Danilo,

    Solder mask is referenced to the drawing on the left on page 34.  It must be must be larger than the pads.  If the TLA2022 pad is 0.25 x 0.58, the solder mask would be 0.30 x 0.63 with the recomended 0.05 solder mask clearance.  The image on the right is the paste mask, it is normally smaller than the pad.
