ADS6442: Analog Input Range

Dear All,

I have selected ADC part no: ADS6442. I would like to know that whether it will support +- 1Vpp or not.

If not Kindly suggest part no with below specifications from TI.

No of bits: 14 / 16

Analog Input : +-1Vpp

No of channels: 4 differenatial

SFDR: 85

Hi Ashok,

Yes, the ADS6442 supports 2Vpp differential input (1.5VDC common mode) so voltage swings from 0.5V to 2.5V.

ADC3443 also fits all of your requirements.

If interested in a 2CH ADC, the ADC3663 is a 16 bit, ultra low power 65MSPS SAR ADC.

Hi,

Fine it will support 2Vpp. My analog input is from -1V to +1V. Whether the chip i mentioned can be used or not. If Yes kindly elaborate it to me.

Hi C Ashok Reddy,

Yes, it can support 2Vpp input, but you will need to shift the DC offset from 0VDC to +1.5VDC in accordance with the ADS6442's common mode voltage.
