In interleaved mode, two adjacent LVDS output streams deliver simultaneously the values of two successive samples. According to Figure 82 of the data sheet "Interleaving Mode Latency Timing Diagram", the lower-numbered output stream (e.g., OUT1) delivers the earlier sample (N), and the higher-numbered stream (e.g., OUT2) delivers the next sample (N+1). However, we very clearly observe the opposite in our tests: The higher-numbered output has the earlier sample, and the lower-numbered output has the next one.
Could the data sheet be wrong on this point? Might we be inadvertently operating in an obscure mode in which the order is reversed?
