DAC80501: Quality of the datasheets DACx0501 and DACx0502

Hello,

I have posted a request concerning the device IDs of the above mentioned DACs in July last year. The request was solved and it was promised to update the datasheets soon.

Another post concerning sa problem with the DAC posted by another colleague 4 month ago was solved and it was promised to update the datasheet.

But the datasheets which are available in the web are the same as in July last year.

Hi Ulrich,

Let me check with my systems team to see where we are on it. Our document services team are heavily loaded, so this has likely been set as a lower priority as it does not actually impact the functionality of the device (though it should still be updated).

Hi Paul,

I am implementing now the DAC70501Z and DAC70502 devices in my software project. Reading the config reigister of both devices after reset deliver a 0x0200, that means bit 9 is set. This value is not described in the data sheets of both devices.

Is this correct and what does this bit means?

Then I have a hint for the description of the data register, command 8 and 9. On page 29 you find the hint that the data is left aligned. Please refer the screenshoot.
