ADS1292: RA and LA DC coupling with DC bias of AVDD/2

Part Number: ADS1292

Hi TI

  1. When using only RA and LA without using RLD
In case of DC coupling (no use of series capacitor) RA and LA to ADS1292 and biasing with AVDD/2
I would like to know if the bias voltage of the RA and LA signals will become unstable.
Simply put, please comment if there is any problem with designing with RA & LA DC coupling with DC bias.
  2. Another question is that in case of DC lead off function by applying DC coupling with DC bias,
there is a problem that it is recognized as lead-on even though it is lead-off status due to the pull up resistance connected to RA and LA for biasing. How can it be fixed?

TIA for your support.

  • Hi Alan,

Thanks for the post. I will check with the team and get back to you.

    Thanks

    -TC

  • An additional question is that when the DC lead off detection function is enabled, the bias voltage of RA and RL with pull-up resistor may not play a role due to the current source connected to INP and INN . I want to know if there is need to connect a pull up resistor for biasing in case of enabling DC lead off detection.
