What is the meaning of CodeIDEAL and CodesTOTAL in the following two formulas?

CodeIDEAL refers to the ideal output code given by the ADC, unaffected by offset or gain errors
CodesTOTAL refers to the total number of codes available for a specific ADC. A 16-bit ADC has 2^16 codes, a 24-bit ADC has 2^24 codes, etc.
