DAC8814: Output power of dac8814 IOUT pin

Hi team,

Use the chip dac8814, and then detect that the output power of IOUT pin is only 2mw. is it normal ? How much is normal?

Hi,

I didnt understand this question correctly, what do you mean by power of IOUT? This is an MDAC and you have to use and Operational amplifier to DAC IOUT to use it properly. Please look at typical application diagrams in the datasheet.

Full scale output current is 2mA with +/-10V as Reference.

I think output power is 2mW that is not normal.so I want to know the normal value.
