When measuring the ADC output by using pin header J5, not LVDS, do I have to install the CMOS buffer in the place of U7?

It seems that the purchased ADS5818EVM board had no CMOS buffer in the place of U7. So, can't I use the J5 in this environment?

When not using the CMOS buffer, I want to know the output impedance (EX - output resistance: 50Ohm, output capacitance: 5pF) and output voltage range (Ex- Low level: 0V, High Level: 3.3V..)
