DAC70501: Bit 9 of the config register of DAC70501Z and DAC70502 is set after RESET, why?

Part Number: DAC70501
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC70502

Hi at all,

I am implementing now the DAC70501Z and DAC70502 devices in my software project. Reading the config register of both devices after reset deliver a 0x0200, that means bit 9 is set. This value is not described in the data sheets of both devices.

Is this correct and what does this bit means?

Then I have a hint for the description of the data register, command 8 and 9. On page 29 you find the hint that the data is left aligned. Please refer the screenshoot.

On Page 34 there is no hint on the left alignment of the data. This nice hint could save time and questions.

Kind regards,

Ulrich
