ADS1114-Q1: In case of different power source between VDD of ADS1114 and pull-up resistors connected to I2C ports of ADS1114

Dear experts,

I have a following quesition about I2C port of ADS1114-Q1.

Is there any damage on the device or any problem when switching on and off VDD of ADS1114-Q1 while supplying voltage(3.3V) to pull-up resistor connected to SDA and SCL port of ADS1114-Q1?

Actually, the power source of VDD of ADS1114 is different from the source of pull-up resistors connected to SDA and SCL.

Hello,

There should be no trouble having the SDA and SCL pins pulled high while VDD is low. As long as the absolute max values for the digital pins is respected (up to 5.5V) then the part should be safe.
