DAC5578: Zero-code error

Dear TI Team

There is the following description about Zero-code error. If you read this, is it correct to recognize that the Zero-code error changes depending on the output voltage?

Also, if the Zero-code error changes depending on the output voltage,
is it correct to recognize that it changes only 4 mV or less at the maximum according to the following rules?

    Zero code error doesn't change with code applied. It is measured with all zero's loaded into DAC. What you may be referencing is the offset voltage which is the difference between actual VOUT and ideal VOUT along the linear region of the transfer function which can change based on the code ( CAN BE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE)

    1-4mV specification is the min and max of the zero code error between devices ( Based on statistical calculation).

    and in some DAC datasheets both zero code error and offset error are interchangeably used (based on unipolar or bipolar DAC's).

    If you are worried about the error at a particular code just use the Total Unadjusted Error (TUE) which can be calulated using the root sum square method. Please see the below blog post for TUE.
