AMC7812: 0X6B register question

Part Number: AMC7812

Hi team

could you kindly help to confirm the usage of 0x6B (Power-Down Register) of AMC7812B.
1. Is the following understanding correct?
this register is for the software to forcibly disable (enter the power-down state) certain functions of AMC7812B through the register;
For example, bit14 corresponds to the ADC function. If the software writes bit14 of this register as 0, the ADC function will enter the power-down state. Even if other registers related to the ADC function are configured, the ADC function will not work properly, right?
2. The default state of this register is all 0s. If this register is not configured during the initialization of AMC7812B, the corresponding ADC, REF, and DAC functions are not available, and the related configuration will not take effect, right? ?
