Our application uses multiple devices on the same SPI bus, specifically ADS1283 and DAC1282. At one point, we were concerned about signal contention on the Dout pin, resulting not so much from asserting chip select to multiple devices at the same time, but from non-deterministic behavior at power up or transitioning from powerdown/reset states. We use current limiting resistors to mitigate this problem but this can create excessive rise/fall times on the Dout signal on long nets, connector capacitance, etc. The data sheets do not specify maximum Iol for this and other digital pins. Can you provide this information?
