AFE5807EVM: two TSW1250EVM board synchronization and data continuous saving to PC under external trigger

Hi,

          Currently, I use an AFE5807EVM+TSW1250EVM to test the ADC capture data from ultrasound input. I have a question about synchronization. For example,  I want to use 16 channels ultrasound input, that is I need to use two AFE5807EVM+TSW1250EVM, I know I can input a trigger to two TSW1250EVM's external trigger port get them synchronized. But there is an issue about save data to PC from TSW1250EVM. Currently, when I use the software TI supplied, I need to click one button to save once under the external trigger mode. This is definitely not my need. I need to keep saving when the trigger comes. I'd better have the Labview source code instead of just executed software to know the command the PC gave to FPGA. Do we have the source code or is there some solutions? Thanks!

    How are you?

    As I understood the AFE5807EVM + TSW1405EVM are not designed

    to capture data for multiple AFE5807 device applications.

    I will contact our group engineers and

    get the answer from them and also to see if they have other solution.

    Thank you Chen. just let me know. Since I want to collect data from more than 8 channels, even more than 16 channels. I need more sets of AFE5807EVM+TSW1405EVM. Even if the software TI supplied can not be open more than one in one computer simutaneoulsy, I can do some FPGA programming. Do we supply the souce code of FPGA or Labiview souce code of the high speed data converter software. I will buy around 9 AFE5807EVM+TSW14O5EVM, I need to do development instead of just click some buttion on the software. I think most of the users are not stricte to just this simple opperation.

    How are you?
    For your previous question first,
    Using FT2232H is used for deliver (or receive) from PC to FPGA (or FPGA to PC).

    One 4 USB BUS pins from ADBUSx (USB0~USB3) are used for FPGA's Firmware:
    such as
    USB0=TCK
    USB1=TD1
    USB2=TD0
    USB3=TMS

    Another 4 USB USB pins from CDBUSx (USB4~USB7) are used for FPGA's ADC Data.

    There two 4 USB pins are used for different purposes,
    so they are not sharing the same USB BUS.

    For your newest question,
    Only using 1 set of AFE5807EVM+TSW1405EVM is our design to evaluate the AFE5807 device.
    To use 2 sets of AFE5807EVM+TSW1405EVM and want to use the HSDC Pro to capture simultaneously
    is not ok from our point of view.
    We suggest please build a new test board (for many AFE5807 devices working together) on you own FPGA.
    Sorry for the EVM board's limitation.
