Hi
Does anybody know can we use Ti evm gui's with our designs or not? I mean the gui is board specified or not?

  • anybody?
  • Hi John,

The EVM GUI is intended to be used with the EVM and the general purpose evaluation. The EVM does have the ability to dump out working set of register writes to allow you to implement the working register writes into your design. You will have to implement these register writes with your own SPI bus tool and communication protocol. If you are thinking about using the same FTDI USB chip in your design you also consider using the Labview based DLL. You may visit the following forum thread with people discussing integrating the DLL into their program. One person was able to integrate it with the DAC5682z EVM.
