Are there any 16bit ADCs with FSO output pin like what ADS1601/2 does?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1601, ADS1278

Hi,

We are trying to seek ADCs that can work in a continuous mode. I mean the ADC need only to be triggered once and then data can be read continuously, until it is shut down or enters into a power down mode.

This is what the ADS1601/2 does, which has a FSO output to inform the microprocessor that new data is ready to be read. But the power dissipation is a little bit high for us.

Most of ADCs with serial SPI interface needs the microprocessor to inform the ADC to start convention for every sample.

It looks like you are looking for a device with FrameSync Master mode.  We do have a couple parts.  You might want to look at ADS1278/1178, although it isn't as fast as the ADS1601/2.

You can change some of the parameters to better fit your requirements for a smaller or larger list of parts.
