Hi,

I need a capture card to evaluate ADS6422EVM but I'm not sure which one I should order. The TSW1200 is listed in the user's guide for ADS6422EVM, but TSW1200 is not available in TI.com today. And then I found TSW1405 which has been released to replace TSW1200, so should I prepare TSW1405?

Your advice will be appreciated.

    Hi,

    The TSW1405 supports the ADS6422 EVM.  The TSW1200 is an older capture card and has been labeled obsolete in favor of the TSW1400 or TSS1405.  The TSW1400 and TSW1405 both use the same GUI, which is the High Speed Data Converter Pro (HSDCPro)  software.  The TSW1400 is more full-featured, with a much larger memory space and features like sourcing or accepting a sync trigger.  The TSW1405 is the low-cost alternative to the TSW1400 and its capture depth is limited to the 65536 samples that can be captured in the memory that is internal to the FPGA itself.  But both TSW1405 and TSW1400 benefit from the new HSDCPro GUI which is vastly improved over the older TSW1200 GUI.
