Hello,
I have been trying to run following instructions from slau529.pdf User's Guide.
Pressing Capture button causes "Configure ADC DATA_READ_FAILED ... Please redownload the firmware" message. Capturing is not working.

Hello,

This is not an issue that I have seen in the past.
- Have you tried powering down everything and stepping throught the setup procedure mutiple times?
- Did you make sure to Configure the LMK device on the EVM using the 'Configuration 1' Button on the INTRO sub-tab of the ADC16DX370EVM configuration tab?
- Are you appropriately inputting a 370MHz clock into the CLK input of the EVM? Does that clock have the appropraite amplitude?
If these are all true, then you should see LEDs D2 and D4 blinking on the TSW14J56EVM. Are they blinking?
Regards, Josh
Also, if you can, try using different USB ports on your computer. I have seen a strange bug on some computers caused by using certain combinations of USB ports.
Hi Josh,
Thank you for responding.
Yes:
- I went through the procedure several times with no success;
- 370MHz/11dBm clock is provided from a generator;
- D2 and D4 are blinking.
I will play with the boards more.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
Regards,
Vlad.
Hi Vladmir,
Some of the TSW14J56 boards may have shipped without jumper JP3 installed so confirm this first. Also can you confirm if LED D8 is on and D7 and D6 are off after downloading firmware?
Thanks,
Eben.
Hi Eben,
Thank you very much for your suggestion. JP3 was exactly the reason why the set-up had not been working.
I have got basic functionality - now able to capture and see signals.
Thank you once more time for the support.
Vlad.
