LM9833

What is the output of LM9833 and where to see it

is this IC pre programmed if not how to use this IC

  • Navaneeth,

I'm moving this post to the Imaging AFEs forum. Someone should respond back to you soon.
  • Hello,

    To answer your questions:

    1. What is the output of LM9833 and where to see it?

Response: The 16 bit ADC data output(s) of the LM9833 are on pins D0 (LSB) -D15 (MSB).

    2. Is this IC pre programmed if not how to use this IC?

Response: The LM9833 uses the USB digital interface for register read / write (pins SDA and SCL). The LM9833 registers have default power-on states, but there is significant periphery / external functionality required to make one of these "work". The device is meant to allow a system-on-a-chip solution for a scanner (including illumination control, motor control, etc.).

If you let me konw what you are planning to do, I might be able to offer more help.

    Regards,

    Hooman
