ADC output is automatically amplified to full scale

Hi,

I'm using ADS61B29 ADC. I'm feeding 4dBm input so that i'll get -6dBFS. The time domain plot is as follows :

Initially the amplitude is Full scale and then it came down to -6dBFS.  Over range of ADC is not detected.

Please note that there is no change in the analog input given to the ADC. And we got same plot using MATLAB also... What could be the problem? is this anyway related to DRVDD of ADC?

    That seems like unusual behavior. Can you attach a text file containing the raw data?

    Can you share the schematics for the ADC and related circuitry?

    Sorry for the late reply.

    The raw data file is attached for a similar capture. Input is 4dBm we are expecting -6dBFS. But it is 0dBFS. File is in 2s complement format with 50MHz sampling frequency with 12 bits.


    I'm discussing with my colleagues regarding schematics sharing. I'll update you as soon as possible.
