TSW1400EVM: TSW1400 JTAG_CHAIN_BROKEN_ERROR

Hi,

I have a ADC3444EVM that is connected to a TSW1400EVM. When I power everything up and connect the USB cable the software seems to connect fine to the board but when I choose the ADC and click download the firmware, I get the JTAG_CHAIN_BROKEN_ERROR. I am using windows 10 and I have seen in other posts that people have previously had this problem with windows 8. Is there a solution to this problem in windows 10?

Mohamamd,

Give this a try:

1. From Device Manager right click and uninstall all the 4 USB Serial Converters.

2. Disconnect the 1400 setup from the PC and power cycle the same.

3. Run the attached exe as Administrator. (Please change the extension of the file to .exe from .txt so as to use it)

4. Connect the 1400 setup back to the PC

5. Try Firmware Download and if possible a capture

Hi Jim,

I tried the setup you suggested to Mohammad and Im also getting the same issue. I can send you a screenshot of the error, but it seems to be exactly what Mohammad described. Please advise.
