Will there ever be a TRM for the BQ34Z100-G1? It is very frustrating to pick through multiple docs and the forum for information.

    HI Larry,
    The data sheet contains information that the TRM would have contained, so unfortunately, no there are no plans to release a TRM at this time.

    Hello Onyx,

    Thanks for your response. This is my first experience with the BQ34Z100-G1, and I am actually working on three designs simultaneously - two Li-ion and one NiMH.

    There are multiple configuration items that would normally be explained in a TRM that have no description in the BQ34Z100-G1datasheet. For instance: Cycle Delta, Res Current, ResRelax Time, etc. What is "NiMH Hold Off Time" and how do I calculate the value? I am having to pick thru the forum to try to find information on these types of configurations.

    For a large number of other items, it is necessary to return to SLUA664 to get a full understanding, such as Min Taper Capacity.

    Most of the other configurable gauge devices have a fairly detailed TRM; the BQ34Z100-G1datasheet certainly does not keep with that tradition.

    Hi Larry,

    Thanks for the feedback and sorry for the hassle of having to dig through the forums to understand parameters not captured in the data sheet. I will be reaching out to the system engineer for that device to investigate the possibility of getting the data sheet updated to capture the lacking explanations of parameters.
