ADS1298: ECG AFE Schematics for review

Hi,

We are designing a high end 12 lead ECG device with ADS1298 front end.

I would like to have review done on the same by TI applications experts.

I am attaching front end schematics. Kindly review and comment. Pls feel free ask for more details.

Hi Guna,

Thank you for providing the pdf.

After review I have a couple of suggestions:

1) The VCAP1 & VCAP3 capacitor connections should be changed. This can be seen in figure 106 of the data sheet.

2) 100k for R35 may be larger than intended - but it should be fine. Reducing to 10k should also be acceptable.

3) The ECG front end filter poles are at 48kHz and 723kHz. Is such a wide bandwidth needed?

4) Have you considered adding a differential cap of 220pF (10*Ccm) close to the inputs?
