Part Number: DAC3484EVM

I need to configure the DAC with DAC348xEVM Software GUI (Rev ) in window 7. When I run the software, GUI fields are overlap each others as shown below. I also got "Device Communication failure message also. Any ideas?

    The image did not go through. Can you send it as an attachment? Does your GUI look as the one attached? Try running the GUI as system administrator and see how this works.

    Hi Stanley

    For the GUI display issue I would recommend changing your screen resolution to a higher resolution if possible. I think this may help to shrink the size of the fields with respect to their placement in the GUI panel and eliminate the overlaps. If that doesn't work then try to change the setting of your displayed font size to a smaller setting. It may be currently set to a larger than standard size to improve readability in other applications.

    For the communication problem it sounds like the board isn't being recognized properly by the computer drivers. Please ensure you have High Speed Data Converter Pro software installed. Installing this package should also install the needed FTDI USB drivers used by the DAC EVM.
