Hi Praveen,

I apologize for late reply.

I was away and now back to working on this project. I did run HSDC first and then HMC-DAQ. I still see issue with "file not found" This was reported earlier in this post-

AFE5818EVM: HMC DAQ-GUI error: "Pattern Files\AFE5818\AFE581x_ADC.txt" is missing so the device is not initialized properly.

Can you or Olu (who has replied to that post) send me correct HMC DAQ software and also patch for it.

Hi Maruthi,

Can you let me know the AFE5818EVM revision?
Please also include the version of HSDC Pro and the operating system you are using.

Hi Praveen,

Please see attached my board setup. This AFE5818 EVM was purchased from TI in Feb 2018. It should be latest version.

I have downloaded HSDCpro 4.8 and HMC-DAQ ver 2.8 from this link: . I am getting following error while running HMC-DAQ.

Hi Maruthi,

The “Pattern Files\..... is missing” error occurs when the FTDI Description for the EVM is wrong.

Can you perform the following and send us a screenshot of the FT Prog?

Install FT_Prog from this link: http://www.ftdichip.com/Support/Utilities.htm#FT_PROG
Open FT_Prog.
Select Devices -> Scan and Parse
Click “Device: 0 [Loc…]” -
Send us the screenshot of the FT Prog.

You do not need to connect the TSW1400 EVM while you are checking this.
