I am using ADS8698 ADC in the range of 0-5 V. At one of its input the voltage given is +5V however it is making the digital data for 2.5V.

What may be the reason?

Welcome to E2E forum.

Can you please upload your schematic and screenshot for /CS,SCLK,SDO and SDI by scope? what's the conversion code you got for +5v analog input? I suggest you use default +/-2.5Vref input range for test firstly.
