FDC1004QEVM: New Data Sample Rate vs. Samples per Second

I am trying to determine what the sample rate of the FDC1004Q Device is. According to the "Configuration" tab on the GUI, the output is 400 samples per second.

According to the data streaming tab, I can alter the New Data Sample Rate.

When analyzing the data, what sample rate should I be assuming is accurate?

    Hi Susan,

    The GUI retrieves the data at the configured rate. You can set it to match the device sample rate (EVM output rate), or to a custom value. If you set it to a faster value than the FDC is sampling, duplicate data will be displayed, and it will update when new sample data is available. If you set the custom value to a slower rate than the device is sampling, some conversion results will be lost.
