TVP5151 is currently NRND (not recommended for new designs), does TI have a recommended replacement part?

As Pavel mentions the closest comparable part is the TVP5150AM1-EP.

All the other TI video decoders are NRND unfortunately.

Having said this, NRND simply means that there are limited design support resources available to help with new designs, and in fact similar support limitations also exist for the TVP5150AM1-EP.

NRND does not mean that the device is being moved to an obsolete state and therefore will still be manufactured and available in the foreseeable future. Only design in support is limited.
