PGA411-Q1: PGA411-Q1: pga411 eeprom Read and write problems

Part Number: PGA411-Q1

Change the DEV_OVUV1 register 15-12 bits 1000 to 1001, then write the DEV_EE_CTRL1 register to 0xA7, close it,Re electrifying, write to 0xA2,  the DEV_OVUV1 15-12 bits is no change to 1001. What's the problem?

  • You are missing one step. First the EEPROM must be unlocked (see the "User EEPROM Unlock Sequence" table). To do this in the GUI, follow these steps:

1.) Switch to the "General" page

2.) Click the "Unlock EEPROM" button

3.) Click the "Program EEPROM" button  (note that you could also do this by writing 0xA7 to DEV_EE_CTRL using the register map, as you did before)

After cycling power, you should now see the new EEPROM values loaded into the registers. Let me know if you need anything else!

  • You are an excellent engineer and thank you very much.
