TSW1406EVM: support for DAC3152EVM

Hi support,

I'have got a TSW1406 and a DAC3152EVM board. I wanted to try the pattern generator but unfortunately, based on releases notes, the TSW1406 support only the DAC3162.

Unfortunately the DAC3162EVM was not available from my distributor, so I want to ask you if there is any way to use the DAC3152EVM with the TSW1406.

Hi Dario,

Both DAC3152 and DAC3162 work with TSW1406EVM. DAC3152 and DAC3162 devices share the same EVM.

thanks for the answer, that's a good new.

Another question: I already bought the evaluation boards but I noticed that connecting the TSW1406 to the HSDCP (High Speed Data Converter Pro), in the DAC list there is no support for the DAC3152, but only there is DAC3162. Can I select the DAC3162 without modification to the DAC xls file or I must modify somethings?

Hi Dario,

Yes please use the DAC3162 in HSDCpro. You don't have to modify anything.
