ADC32RF42EVM: Is there any problem with JESD204B interface

All of example firmware/software that is used with the KC705 uses the USB port on the TSDW14J10EVM, which interfaces between our ADC/DAC EVM's and the KC705. We have never used any of the USB ports on the KC705. You will probably have to consult with Xilinx regarding this.

What about the TSW14J10EVm if I do digitize for the pulsed RF signal at VHF? Can it work?

The TSW14J10EVM will allow you to run the HSDC Pro GUI just as if you were using a TSW14J56EVM. This would allow you to download captured ADC data from the FPGA and send data to the FPGA across the USB port used on the TSW14J10. The problem is when using this board it will interfere with the other FMC connector.

If you are referring to the TSW14J10EVM, you can purchase it from the TI website for $299. You will need special software and firmware to accomplish what you are trying. HSDC Pro GUI will not support this. We do have a TI-Design that may help you with this. I will send more info after I look into what is available.

I will check that. By the way, if I do you the TSW14J10EVM to capture data, do I need to buy an extended cable like this one from Samtech. The TSW14J10EVM will occupy some space at the LPC connector where it is supposed to use the DAC board.

But what I am also not sure about how interference this cable can cause plus the interference from the TSW14J10.

Do you have any suggestion in order to mitigate such interferences or I had better to use two FPGA platforms one is for ADC and one is for DAC?

I have one KC705 board and TSW1400EVM so I am gonna use TSW1400EVM to write data to DAC34sh84EVM and use KC705 to capture data  from ADC32RF42EVM.

Could it be possible I check out the TSW1400EVM it is compatible with DAC34SH84EVM?

I might need the TSW14J10EVM as well.

I have read the AN that you sent. My application is a bit different with that. I am going to capture pulsed RF signal, then do DDC to get IQ data. The IQ data will be used and modified kind of pre-distortion before sending to the DAC to create a modified pulsed RF signal. The signal is the same freq as the one which is digitized, just has pre-distorted envelope. So the digitized data will be sent over LPC before feeding to the DAC 34Sh84EVM.
In the case that you suggested, it means that the digitized data is sent over PC and then PC will send those data to DAC right. This way will contribute some delays I suppose and do you have any suggestion to mitigate them? The rise time of my RF pulsed signal is 350 us. My application is kind of like envelope tracking. Sorry if I ask too much but I want to confirm how well the solution is with TSW14J10EEVM.

The TSW14J10EVM User's Guide explains the functions and features of this board. You can download this from the TSW14J10EVM product folder on the TI website. I do not believe it will accomplish what you are looking for as is. You may be required to write new firmware, software and drivers to use this board as you describe. We do not support this type of effort.
