I am trying to find a DAC (with serial interface and low noise) that meets the specs from section 5 of "Time Gain Control (Compensation) in Ultrasound Applications - SLAA724":

With those parameters the DAC list given by the web selection would be:

Are there some other recommendation that I would have missed?

    For the most part I think those two devices are going to be your best bets assuming you need 12-bits of resolution.

    The relevant devices given the settling time and other requirements would be either 8-bit or 12-bit.
