ADS7870: ADS7870EA VS ADS7870EAG4

Part Number: ADS7870

Good day!

I have a question regarding differences between ADS7870EA and ADS7870EAG4.

Through the datasheet, I can not find any differences between them. I would like to know ADS7870EA can cover ADS7870EAG4 or not.

Because ADS7870EAG4 is not available currently, I will purchase ADS7870EA instead of ADS7870EAG4. 

Please advise me.

    Hello,

    This is an older part and back during that time, we had notations for when a part was manufactured as "green" meaning it had no lead and other substances, which is the "G4"
    Now all of our parts are manufactured "green" thus the notation is no longer used. You will notice that you cannot get the G4 part.
    Aside from that, the two parts would be identical.
