Hi Alexander !

While working with the ADS1299 evm kit, i'm still stuck with some errors and unable to get the desired result.
i have configured all the settings for the single ended inputs in the given manual as like:
1) Bipolar power +2.5 , -2.5.

2) Set all jumpers to factory defaults.

3) Short pin 5 and 6 of JP25. Set the SRB1 bit in the MISC1 register.

4) Provided the single-ended input to pin 8 of J6 for channel 1 respectively.

5) Provided bias electrode input to pin 2 of J25.

In ADS1299EEG-FE Top Assembly i marked the link settings with Green & Electrodes with Red.

I have also attached some register settings for your ease to understand.

I hope you can now understand my question and can response with convenience.

Hi Obad,

Thanks for your post and I'm happy to see that you are making progress!

Looking at your setup I do not see any issues.

Can you provide additional information about your results?
What are your input signals and what does your output look like?
What are you seeing and what are you expecting to see?

Hi Alexander!

I got some stuff for you to observe my problem.

ADS1299EEG board picture with configured links & electrodes setting is attached below, along with the result i'm getting on the Scope monitor.
Currently i'm testing it with ECG signals to get the better understanding of EEG signals.
I want my heart beat rate as a desired result (Picture is attached below with reference to this link).
Yellow wire is Bias Electrode.
Green Wire is Positive Electrode in channel input 1.
All the settings are same as i posted in the previous post.

Hi Obad,

As per the user's guide: The ADS1299EEG-FE is not intended for direct interface with a patient, patient diagnostics, or with a
defibrillator.

That being said I believe you need to reconsider your electrode setup. I see from your register settings that Biasref is being fed externally and that the buffer is powered down. What is the single ended electrode being measured against?
