ADS1282EVM-PDK: Testing EVM without input amplifier

Part Number: ADS1282EVM-PDK
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA1632

Hi,

I'm trying to bypass the input amplifier stage in the ADS1282EVM PDK, the differential inputs i'm directly connecting at the inputs of the ADC. However, i'm not able to get the exact performance.

Is this this the right way to do it or i'm I missing something?

Thanks & Regards,

Shashank

  • Hi Shashank,

To avoid contention between your input signal and the OPA1632, I would recommend removing the R6, R7, R18, and R19 resistors.

Alternatively, you could try removing OPA1632 (U4), R6, R7, and then replacing R16-R19 with different value resistors. This would allow you to connect your signal to the J6 header.
