Hello,
I am not sure if i understand your question. would you explain more as to what the input signal and what is this fault condition you are expecting. Or is theinput signal continously moving around 4V at different frequencies?
This is a single ended device. As long as the input signal is within the input voltage range of the device, then it should be fine.
