Part Number: TLV5618A

Hello Team,

May I know if there is TLV5618 HBM spec available?

Regards,

Ting

  • Hi Ting,

I will see what we can find, but unfortunately if the information wasn't including in the datasheet it is very likely that it was never modeled. As such, we may have to request a new model in order to get this figure - which can take some time.

    Hi Ting,

I have not been able to uncover anything for this device or any even mildly related devices from adjacent families.

In addition, I originally mentioned a model approach but that is because I evidently managed to mistake this topic to be about thermal information. Thermals are modeled, but ESD is tested. Given the age of this part, re-doing the ESD qualification is unfortunately not something we're in a position to pursue right now.

    Hello Kevin,

Thank you for the information! Below reference design's output protection circuit is introduced to customer and hope it can help solve ESD application problem of TLV5618A circuit.

    Ting,

Of course I don't have all of the details at this point, but something along the lines of that circuit should probably be sufficient. Depending on the exact conditions of the test it may be necessary to use another TVS diode in the same family as what is proposed in that design since the TLV5618 is a lower voltage device than DAC8760.
