TSW14J57EVM: HSDC doesn't recognize the TSW14J57 EVM

Part Number: TSW14J57EVM

Dear,

I'm using HSDC-pro 5.0 to link the TSW14J57 EVM, but HSDC-pro can't recognize the EVM.

As I can see on hardware manager, the laptop(Windows 10) can recognize the TSW14J57.

What I have done:

  1. Check the Jumper/LED status to be the same as the user-guide claimed.
  2. Re-power the EVM.
  3. Re-connect the USB cable. There seems a bit different from the user-guide: When I reconnect the USB, the laptop can't recognize the EVM, I have to reset the USB by pressing the USB_reset button on board.
  4. Re-install the HSDC-pro 5.0 as an administrator.

Could you please tell me if there is any other way to solve this issue? Thanks!

Best Regards,

Jason Ren

  • Jason,

What is the voltage & current limit on your power supply?

  • In reply to Yusuf%20Agoro:

    Yusuf,

The voltage is set12V, the current limit is set 3A. As I can see on the power supplier panel, the current is about 0.47A when the EVM is working.

    Best Regards,

    Jason

    Jason,

Make sure the these jumper shunt settings are set as follows:

    JP1 pins 1-2

    JP2 open

    JP4 pins 2-3

    Thanks

    Yusuf
