    I found that the sysref signal of evm board ads42jb69EVM and dac38j84EVM are all DC coupled, Does sysref signal have to be DC-coupled?

    Xiao,

    It does not. It can be AC coupled. The problem with AC coupling is that most users will turn off SYSREF once the link is established. With the source disabled, the signal could float and possibly cause a false trigger. Care must be taken when using this approach.
