AFE4490SPO2EVM: 4MHz frequency in output signal in bypassed ADC mode

Part Number: AFE4490SPO2EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE4490

Hello,

if the ADC of the AFE4490 module is bypassed and the signals are routed out to the pins RX_OUT_P and RX_OUT_N we see a 4 MHz frequency in the output signals on the oscilloscope.

The pulse oximetry module runs on a 4 MHz clock so the source of the frequency is clear.

Is this 4 MHz swing only visible on the oscilloscope or is it also present if the ADC is not bypassed?

At first crosstalk from the CLOCK_OUT pin was assumed, so a RC-filter was attached. However, the 4 MHz remained in the output signal.

Is there anything we can do about the 4 MHz?

Regards,

Max
