TINA/Spice/DAC7821: PSPICE Models for DAC7821 or MV95308

Part Number: DAC7821
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI, , DAC8822

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

In the LabKit Pro Manual the DAC7821 or the MV95308 are needed for a simulation. Both of them are not available as Simulation Models anywhere. If anyone has comparable models, it would be great if one could send them to me.

  • Alex,

Unfortunately I am not really sure of the origins of LabKit Pro or ASLK Pro. I think these were largely developed outside of TI though they are using TI components and referenced on the TI University page. Therefore, I'm not really sure what the author had in mind.

In general most DACs do not have SPICE models, just a few from TI and some other semiconductor manufacturers. The nearest similar part is probably the DAC8822.

If you go to the DAC8822 product folder and select the "Tools & software" tab and scroll down a bit you will find the models.
