ADS1115: could you help check below schematic?

Part Number: ADS1115

Hi

could you help check below schematic? and give your comments if there are some wrong connections?

I_total_A_P/I_total_A_N  is one input

I_total_B_P/I_total_B_N is another input

  • Max,

There's not too much to comment on for this schematic. Generally this is an easy device to configure.

I assume that the inputs are connected to some sensor. If there is any input filtering, that would be something that I would like to look at. Often, we would put some differential and common-mode RC filtering at the input.

For the ALERT/RDY pin, this should be connected to the VDD through a pull-up resistor, similar to the SDA and SCL lines. However, if they are not using this function, pulling it down to ground through a resistor is ok.

It appears that RB84 is a 10 Ohm resistor. I would generally use something smaller like a 1 Ohm resistor. The average current may be only 150uA, but with digital circuits, the instantaneous current is much larger. Because of this, I would use low impedance and no inductive connections to the supply.
