I was running a setup back in March-April of this year that produced an output frequency of 131.027MHz which is now 138.197MHz running the same setup file.

Below is my setup file...I've verified the correct input clock of 153.6MHz is being applied.

Hi Ron,

The only thing I can advise is to check if the CDCE62005 is locked correctly. An unlocked or drifting CDCE62005 may cause these type of frequency errors.

Please also advise what has been changed between March-April time frame to now. It is very difficult to help you with these given information.

Yeah...The lock LED is not on. It used to be. Not sure what's changed. Thus, why I'm seeking help. Was there anything wrong with my setup file for the DAC3484EVM?

The 153.6MHz clock into J9 is coming from a LMK04828BVM set to LVPECL20 drive.

with or without the input clock connected the FPGA clock output is at 138.197MHz. The PLL is not running correctly in the CDCE62005

I’m having trouble getting the CDCE63005 to lock and out a 131.072MHz FPGA clock output on the DAC3484EVM card. The clock input is 153.6MHz LVPECL20 from an LMK04828BEVM connected to a balun to produce a single-ended input to the J9 connector. The PLL won’t lock and the output drifts to 138.197MHz regardless of whether or not the 153.6MHz input click is connected or not. I had this working 4 months ago, but now it seems the PLL won’t lock.

Ron,

The best that I can recommend is to recalibrate the CDCE62055 VCO. You can do so with the following button.

You can try this and report back. As Hao had mentioned, it is best that you contact clocking E2E for more advanced support on CDCE62005.

This morning it powered up, loaded, output the correct frequency, but the D1 Lock LED did not light. Pressing the Wake Up button didn't seem to have an effect. Could this PLL filter be temperature sensitive? Below is the CDCE62005 VCO Settings through the DAC3484EVM Software Control GUI
