ADC12DJ3200: placement and layout reccomendation

Part Number: ADC12DJ3200
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK04828, LMX2582,

Hi TI,

We will be using three ADC12DJ3200 in our design.

Major components are:

3 ADCs, one LMK04828,one LMX2582, 6 baluns for ADC, power regulators(3 switchers, 8 LDOs) and other passive components.

Below is the image of our planned PCB right now.

Dimensions right now are 190mm*186mm.

FMC+ connector is on top right.

There will be 10 SMA connectors on the front of PCB . 6 for six channel of ADC12DJ3200 and other 4 for clk and trigger signals.

So our queries are:

1. What should be the distance of one SMA to other i.e. distance between one channel of ADC to second channel of ADC for proper isolation.(We will be testing it upto 10Ghz).

2. Can you guys help in the placement of components , like which section of our PCB should we choose for power, which for clocking(LMK,LMX) etc.

3. If we route the JESD signals of ADC in internal layers , can we place components like LDO on the top layer of these traces?

Thanks,

Lalit
