ADS8866: External REF and AVDD/DVDD Power Supply Sequence

Hi team

Does ADS8866 malfunction in the following sequence?

Power-Up : 30 msec after AVDD(3.3V) and DVDD(3.3V) rises, REF (5V) start rising.

Power-Down : After AVDD(3.3V) and DVDD(3.3V) decreases, REF(5V) gradually decreases over about 500 msec.

Do we need to control the REF sequence? Is it possible to keep the reference voltage power on regardless of the VDD status?

    Hello,

    This device shows that power supplies and REF are independent of each other, thus you do not need to control the power up or power down sequence.

    As for having the voltage reference on while the device is powered off, although there is nothing in the datasheet that explicitly does not allow this, I would suggest against this.
