ADS8598S: Clarification on the Datasheet

Part Number: ADS8598S

I was hoping to get insight into some values on one of TIs datasheets. I'm looking at the ADS8598S ADC, in particular the values for gain and offset error.

In the datasheet http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/ads8598s.pdf, page 7, under "Gain error", using the internal reference there is a value of +/-10 LSB, however under "Gain error matching" between channels the typical value is 32 and 34 LSB. I'm just wondering how two channels that are ~30 LSB apart could still be within 10 LSB of the "ideal" gain? Or is it that I'm interpreting these values incorrectly?

I'm having the same confusion with the offset accuracy, it is +/-1.8mV maximum specified but for the offset error matching, between channels, the maximum is 5mV.

Thank you for helping me understand this datasheet information.
