BP-DAC11001EVM: BP-DAC11001EVM glitch measurement

I am trying to measure the glitch from the BP-DAC11001EVM. I set the software to LDAC, and I'm driving the LDAC with a separate microcontroller. This way I can cue up the code I want to write in software, and then trigger the LDAC and simultaneously measure the glitch.

This is what I measure when going from 0x7FFFF to 0x80000:

The magnitude is much less than the datasheet spec (5 mV) which is nice, but it takes FOREVER to reach the final value. Much longer than the settling time spec of 1 uS. Am I doing something wrong?

Should have specified: green in the plot is VOUT from the DAC, blue is #LDAC.

Hi Justin,

The glitch measurement at a 20-bit level is a bit tricky. I am checking with our characterization team. I will get back by tomorrow.

Hi Justin,

I am taking the glitch measurements on the EVM. Your scopeshot looks like a wrong signature of the glitch. I am not able to point out the reason - it might be a problem with the scope settings. I will send you the scopeshots with settings on Monday.
