This software was primarily designed and tested using Windows 7.

We have seen this error many times on Windows 10 but I have not seen it on XP.  Are you truly running it on XP or are you running it in XP compatibility mode on Windows 10?  

You could try installing the Labview Runtime engine directly from NI as well as the NI Visa library.  Do you have a windows 7 machine to test this on?

It is working now on the Windows XP machine. However, the DAC9881 Device Configuration File is all zeros and greyed out. However, on further reviewing the xml file the data is populated on there. Trying to use the DAC Download Drives does not show anything either. Is there another way to load the DAC98981 xml file?

Please try installing the support packages for DXP as well.

Please let me know if that solves it.  It should download the xml files.

The issue still remains after installing the support packages. Please advise.

Apologies for the delayed response. I will send the screenshot shortly. We are currently selecting the DAC8881 as the interface and seeing the data being sent to the DAC. At the output we see VOUTA to be close to 0.5V. Is there a way to know what is being sent when we hit the Run DAC command?

What external power supplies are you applying to the EVM? Have you applied VCC and VSS to the board?
